Wrote and edited content for the Summer 2022 issue of InFocus. Articles were focused on promoting new products, introducing new locations, and providing patients with updates and news.

InFocus Summer 2022

For each issue of InFocus I work closely with the Henry Ford Optimeyes Marketing Director to choose content and formulate how the magazine will be laid out. News and interviews are interwoven with coupons and advertisements from vendor partners. Each article is representative of the Henry Ford Optimeyes brand with a cheerful, excited tone that encourages patients to make an appointment or a purchase.

For each article I conduct an interview with a Henry Ford team member who serves as the subject expert. Not only does this introduce team members to patients allowing them to recognize a familiar face when they visit, it instills a sense of pride in the participating staff members.

Each issue features an article from a partner organization within Henry Ford Health. For the summer issue we featured Henry Ford Sandcastles, a program that helps children and their family members after they have suffered the loss of a loved one. I interviewed Casey Papp about her experience attending camp as a child after losing her mother and her interest in volunteering at the camp today. I chose to publish this piece in interview format to let Casey’s voice shine and allow readers to deeply connect with her lived experience.
